Two peas, I mean cats

This is Cat and Zoe laying on the back of the sofa in Keith's "office". Zoe is trying to be just like her mentor, Cat.

Yes, it is that thrilling.

I tried not to choose long haired cats for life in the desert but these cats chose us.
What 'ya gonna do?

Go Dog Go!

Mom says it is getting too hot to walk the dogs anymore. Hot dogs?

Did anyone notice she left with a little dog and brought back a much bigger one?!

She only started walking Argo recently. Each dog gets .3 mile They behave very well for her.

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Me & my kitty

Dear Mom,
Here is your supposed daughter finally ditching facebook to post something new and exciting on our blog. I might post my respect video if I am feeling brave enough (I am sorry I just don't think it sounds very good!!! Especially in the beginning. erk.) and once I upload it to my computer. I am currently out of disc space and need to take over Danny's laptop instead.

This is my new (old) cat. I have had her for maybe 2 months? David and I were out walking the dogs and heard a sad meow from under a bush and promptly adopted her. Her name is Zoe. The vetrinarians all adore her cause she is so easy going and well-behaved. She is darling. A good mix of spunk and snuggly. When she isn't nearly tripping Grandma running around under foot, she is snuggling with her in the chair. Here is a video of her playing...if I was tricky, I would put music to it but it is effort enough to post a video so don't expect pyrotechnics. And meanwhile don't strain yourself to listen to the video cause I am just on the phone in the background...

Menagerie

My kids came back too soon from walking the dogs. David stayed in the kitchen while Rachel stood in front of Keith and I and started stammering out a long tmi story. ( Have all the parents had their warning bells go off? ) It turns out they had found an abandoned ,skinny scraggly, dirty, tiny kitten, in a bush out on a major street.
Well, of couse, I am now trying to teach this kitten to drink from a bowl and use a litter box.
She (it's barely old enough to be able to tell the sex, I'm guessing maybe 4-5 weeks old.) is way too young to have left her mother.
No one is answering any posted signs about a lost kitten, no surprise there, and well, here we go I guess.

This one is Rachel's. Ha!

Any suggestion on a name?

Argo our good old doggie

Here are the other two pests, I mean Pets we have right now. Kat and Argo. She loves to torture the big ol dog. He hasn't a growl in his body, he tolerates her. Kat is less than a year old. We adopted her from a shelter. She had no mom.
She also loves to hide under Grandma's bed and grab her bare toes.

Mom and the Argo dog

Argo is getting old and moves slowly, so does my Mom, so I think he relates to her or guards her? anyway he likes to lay down by her. Oh, enough-- here is a picture of them.

I did my moms hair for her for the first time. It has been too frizzy so we put it up on rollers.

She says, "Don't smile just try to look pleasant" to herself when I took these pictures.

I laugh and she says, "I am trying to be normal".

It has been a good day and a good week. Another eye surgery this coming tues.
Did I say two old dogs with new tricks?
