Summer time

When the thermometer keeps hitting the one hundred and teens and the night time temps are around 80 degrees and rising I begin, once again, to seriously doubt my reasons for living in this state. The people who remain here love it. I think those who don't love it eventually are driven out 'cause everyone here loves it. either that or I am all alone in my opinion and crazy to boot for staying.

Baby Shower Suprise part II

Now that there are all of those beautiful Eli pictures posted, I feel a little remiss in my chronology here. But, I wanted to share these. Just be sure to check out the "results" of the shower down below.

Grandma was cold, warming her feet in our luxurious suite. She was digging for coins, pooling our change together to tip the delivery boy.

After the shower...

When we had last seen Ian, he was minorly bearded and in shorts and a t-shirt. All the ladies at the shower were joking about seeing him off duty. Scene two: Bishop duty, back on.
